Looking for a .22 Rifle? Here's One For You!

It sounds just great. "Formerly Mint" - sort of like "a little bit pregnant".

"Gun retains an even coat of rust and minor pitting. Stock has several cracks and is very dry. There are some pieces missing. No buttplate. Large chip out of the butt. Bore has no visable rifling, but has some rust in it."

Yup - "formerly mint" (a few zillion decades ago) sounds about right.

Looks like it might make a good "turn in" rifle...

Know what I mean, Vern?

That's probably the ONLY way you'd get any money for it.

Is that auction a joke? I hope so. The owner should have spray painted it pink and duct taped on some tacitcool gear to it.

I'm sure it's serious. Sell the rifle itself for $0.01, plus a modest $873 (or whatever) for shipping. If you look closely at the ad, shipping costs are NOT specified. You're agreeing to an open-ended amount. Danger, Will Robinson!
